Engaging with makers at Makerfest Vadodara 2022

On the 26th and 27th of February, Astrophilia Education was honored with the opportunity to present our work at Makerfest Vadodara 2022, the fourth installment of this event.
We spent the two days excitedly interacting with people, making friends and connections, having intriguing panel discussions with our fellow makers and meeting giants of the industry.
Being a maker does not need a description or a job designation. The passion to create, build and design is all one needs. It is a cornerstone of a new wave of learning and education in general. That is why we are proud to call ourselves makers. The ideology of experimentation and critical thinking aligns itself with our vision and goals as a company as well.
The Gujarat heat was no deterrent as the continuous action, talking and events kept the adrenaline pumping and the exhaustion at a respectable six foot distance where it belonged!
With meeting fellow creators who have made it in the industry, even going so far as to secure funding at Shark Tank India 2021, to the youngest makers being no older than ten, the event was in no shortage of inspiration and we hope we could contribute in some way to people trying to pursue a dream of design and creation professionally.
Lastly, Astrophilia was presented with the Silver award in the education category. A prize which means a great deal to us since it is the first accolade we have been presented with as a company. A huge hug and lots of thanks to the Makerfest team for that!
